The Haysden Strings are a family-run business, established in 1996. We perform at weddings and events across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London and across the South East.
We offer three different ensemble types to suit all event sizes and budgets. The quartet has the widest repertoire, and would be our first choice for a wedding. Trio is a great option where space might be more limited. The duo is ideal in a resonant space with a smaller number of guests, or where space & budget is limited. Our music repertoire spans everything from Bach to Bridgerton. Over the years, we have collected a huge amount of music from all genres. Recently, we have spent time digitising our collection of music and you now might see us playing from tablets rather than music folders. Whether you would like a more traditional feel with mainly classical music, mainly lighter/jazz, or mainly contemporary pop music, or a mixture, we can curate a tailor made playlist that suits your event. Special requests are always possible - over the years we have created many bespoke music arrangements for events.
We are full-time professional musicians. With almost 30 years of experience planning musical entertainment for all types of events, we can ensure the most reliable and highest standard of performance for you and your guests. We have played at countless different venues, ranging from the grand such as Claridges, Leeds Castle, Hever and Chiddingstone, to smaller venues such as pub and barn venues, gazebos and marquees in private homes and gardens of all sizes.
