Kent revealed as one of the most romantic UK destinations

Kent has featured in the top ten based on four different metrics: romantic activities, romantic restaurants, Google searches for proposal ideas and features in wedding hashtags on Instagram.

From taking in the views over the White Cliffs of Dover to embracing culture at Leeds Castle, it’s easy to see why Kent has earnt its top spot.
The data has also cemented the south coast as a romantic destination in general as Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, and Bristol all feature in the top ten alongside Kent.

In addition to making the overall list, Kent also comes in third for most popular wedding destinations and the most romantic restaurants, along with securing fourth place for most romantic activities.
