Wellington House temporary closure

The Register Office at Wellington House on St. Stephens Road in Canterbury will shortly be having a period of closure to allow for essential structural repairs. The Register Office will close from Tuesday 6 January 2023 with a planned re-opening date of Friday 31 March 2023.

During the closure, the office will not be available for ceremonies, walk-in enquiries, or notices of marriage. Instead, Register Office staff will be working from other locations to continue offering services to the public. Notices of Marriage appointments will be delivered from several alternative locations including Canterbury Library at The Beaney and Whitstable Library.
