Violet and Bean

Here at Violet and Bean, I handmake bespoke dresses and outfits for ages two - twelve years old, for Weddings, Parties, Holy Communion and all Special Occasions.

When I got married, I searched high and low for something a little different and unique for my flower girls and pageboy outfits. I then started to look at sewing patterns and found the most amazing selection of fabrics available. I bought some beautiful royal blue floral patterned cotton, ivory plain cotton and tulle net fabrics; and created some really sweet flower girl dresses that suited our wedding theme and venue perfectly. I had many lovely comments and realised that I absolutely loved sewing!

I offer you the opportunity to create outfits that are totally unique to your special occasion. Something that compliments your venue, theme and colour theme.

​I am able to source many different fabrics, offering you something beautiful to create the right look. Fabrics from Dupion silk to Duchess satin, and from plain cottons to patterned cottons. You can also add lace, ribbons, flowers and jewels and sash.
