Our venue is set in a beautiful location within the village of Acrise near Folkestone, Kent.
We are a family run venue. Owned and run by Shirley McCrystal, her sister Valerie Hunn and Niece Bronwyn Hunn.
We want to make our venue available to those planning on a budget and encourage a ‘do it yourself’ attitude. However we can recommend suppliers and offer the services of our in-house Coordinator for on the day help and preparation.
At Hoad Farm Barn we can hold weddings & events at our venue either indoor or outdoors. We have our surrounding gardens with a choice of two gazebos. A large patio area with underfloor heating and a covered BBQ area ideal for a Hog Roast or a mobile food vendor. You would also have access to our surrounding field where you could hold entertainment for the children and grown ups, the choice is yours to build your wedding/event as you like. The venue itself is not your usual run of the mill traditional barn but a modern industrial loft theme with a twist of quirkiness. Our barn can seat up to 60 guests, this allows for a more small and intimate gathering either for a Wedding or an Event.
As for our three holiday cottages these will come as part of the wedding package for getting ready in and staying the night.
Here at Hoad Farm Barn we pride ourselves on being sustainable and Eco friendly due to the surrounding ecosystems and farms. We ourselves have horses on the premises and therefore do not allow the use of fireworks and non-Eco friendly confetti for the safety of the animals around us.
