Originally opened to the public in 1995, The Gardens have been lovingly restored by their new owners as an exciting wedding venue exclusively for you. It offers the opportunity to hold your wedding in a truly unique venue that will delight your guests and provide you with memories to last a lifetime.
The beautifully presented gardens demonstrate the evolution of horticulture - from the medieval garden through to a 1950’s style allotment. The delightful grounds are simply stunning in all seasons; providing inspiration for your wedding day from your first visit. On your big day, the gardens are available for your guests to freely explore.
In the summer months, civil ceremonies and events can be held outside in the spectacular gardens, with the beautifully restored, contemporary barn available for less clement weather – as well as offering a way to create your own wonderland in the winter months. Two ‘TiPi’s’ interlinked with the barn provide a unique and flexible space for entertaining and dining, connecting the inside to the outside seamlessly.
The wonderful team of event managers are available to work with you to create a bespoke wedding day and to turn your dreams into a reality.
From a formal wedding breakfast to a hog roast to an informal BBQ or buffet, their experienced catering team will deliver the first class dining experience that your wedding day deserves. Wherever possible, the food is either grown on site or locally sourced, providing an unrivalled provenance for your first meal as a married couple.
